I spearheaded the rebranding of the station's graphics in 2019. My vision was to transition from a flat, colorful 2D look to a darker, more immersive 3D space that reflected the changes in programming and content. I created a new visual identity that was more dynamic and visually engaging. By leveraging my expertise in graphic design and my understanding of the station's goals, I successfully transformed the station's graphics to better align with its evolving brand identity.
I played a key role in refining the details of The U logo using Element 3D. Leveraging my expertise in this powerful software tool, I was able to enhance the logo's visual appeal and create a more dynamic and engaging visual identity for the station. Through my work, I ensured that the logo was optimized for various platforms and could be seamlessly integrated into other visual elements of the station's branding.
I was responsible for creating a custom graphics package that was utilized for movies that aired on the station. I developed visually captivating full screens, and other on-screen graphics that enhanced the overall viewer experience. My contributions ensured that the station's movies were presented in a polished and professional manner, aligning with the station's brand identity.
The brand sought to undergo a refresh, with a particular focus on incorporating Chicago and neon elements. As a key member of the design team alongside with another designer, we developed a range of design concepts that effectively integrated neon elements while staying true to the brand's identity. The brand achieved a fresh and modern look that established a stronger connection to its Chicago roots.
