As the Lead Designer for The Jam, a Chicago-based morning show, I led the evolution and rebranding of the show's visual identity. My responsibilities included developing an on-air graphics package that fun and vibrant for morning viewers, while still maintaining integrity for any news story they ran. I collaborated with producers, editors, and junior graphic designers to ensure the successful delivery of the new visual brand. Additionally, I also built the Xpression package for directors and producers to use within iNews.
I played a crucial role in creating and animating various segments that were used on a daily basis, as well as special segments that were integral to the show's visual storytelling. By creating visually stunning graphics and animations, I ensured that each segment was engaging, informative, and captivating for viewers. My contributions helped to elevate the quality of the show's production and enhance the overall viewer experience.
I collaborated with producers, content creators, and the marketing department to develop a range of visual assets for social media platforms. My responsibilities included creating custom graphics, icons, and templates that effectively conveyed the brand's messaging while resonating with its target audience. By working closely with various teams, I ensured that each visual asset was optimized for its intended platform and helped to increase engagement and reach.
