As the lead designer for a new morning show in Chicago, I spearheaded the creation of an on-air package for WCIU. I developed a cohesive and visually stunning package that captured the essence of Chicago morning talk, news, and entertainment. To facilitate the production process, I delivered Photoshop templates, graphics for editors, and authored templates for producers, empowering them to easily create and customize content for the show. Additionally, I collaborated closely with junior designers to ensure that their designs aligned with the established brand guidelines. As a mentor, I provided constructive criticism and feedback, helping them refine their skills and grow as designers.Â
Displayed below are samples of the work I created for the monitors on set as well as on-air graphics.
In collaboration with the marketing team, I was responsible for designing all transit promotional materials for The Jam, aimed at increasing its visibility in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Additionally, I was also responsible for designing marketing materials for various events aimed at promoting The Jam. I created visually striking banners for tents and buses, as well as promotional items like cups and shirts that helped generate excitement and interest among attendees, raising awareness and interest in The Jam.
